The VOWD Project works to close the gap between the insidious impacts on the War on Drugs and the vast opportunities to be had in the burgeoning cannabis industry.
OUR MISSION.
Our mission is to right the wrongs of cannabis prohibition. We fight to make drug war victims whole through expungement and decarceration. We promote comprehensive cannabis legislation reform that makes space in the cannabis industry for all, including by codifying home grow provisions.
OUR HISTORY.
TerraVida VOWD was founded in 2019 as the nonprofit arm of TerraVida Holistic Centers. Throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, VOWD took part census & voter registration events, food drives, record expungement initiatives, pandemic relief outreach and donations to the inner city.
We recently rebranded to The VOWD Project in 2022.
